Only in Missouri can it be 68 on day and snowing the next!
Today was the first day of spring and yet it is snowing.
It started out as a very cold rain that lasted over half the day. Later it turned to snow. Leaving us with a cold icy slush.
The tree branches are cracking under the weight of the ice. The trees sway like icy brittle towers waiting to fall crashing to the ground where they will break into a million pieces. The icy rain sounds like little pebbles as they tap at the windows. It is so cold outside that it sends shivers straight to the bone. How is it spring when it feels like winter?
I heard that it is supposed to be back in the 70s on Tuesday. But I hope that Monday is nice. I am wanting to take my brother down to Cassville for a Storm Chasers class.
